Prior to opening EMH3.com Luxury Real Estate Brokerage and it's parent company I had worked in senior positions at some very large companies. These were and still are great firms for whom I am grateful. Regardless of how good a company might seem like, one of the most pervasive behaviors was that of "looking" busy for fear of getting fired, reprimanded, etc. I recall the first time I explained to persons I worked with that what I care about is quality of product, NOT the amount of time spent on it. Feel free to make mistakes and enjoy the process. 

There is no prize for having spent the most time on something.

But, there is a prize for doing a great job, creating something innovative and having time to enjoy the fruits of your labors both in your public and personal life. 

It is to this that I always tell people to work smarter, not harder.
